SJU Graduates Commit to Serve with Local, National and International Service Programs

Saint Joseph's University is pleased to announce that 33 members of the Class of 2017 have committed to serve with 16 local, national or international postgraduate service programs.

Full-time positions will take graduates to sites as far as Piura, Peru and Kampala, Uganda, and as close as South Philadelphia, in fields ranging from youth development to promoting health and gender equity.

Jamie Palmer of Mt. Laurel, NJ will work with Operation: TEACH in Mercy High School, Baltimore, MD.

"Saint Joseph's University is proud to recognize these graduates who are committing a year or more of their lives to serving others and the greater good," says University President Mark C. Reed, Ed.D. "It's gratifying to know that each person has found a meaningful way to further the Jesuit mission."
